In the beginning of year 2009 we hope it is ready to use.
Registration and making a Profile/Account
It would be great to make easy and functional formula registration like at couchsurfing and hospitalityclub.
I think, that it is important to make a design/layout, that gives the most important point to the "Education" part of the profile.
In the first step, they want to know from you:
- nickname, real name
- Country, city
- your language
- Gender (could be many...)
- Emailadress (hidden)
- that you are agree with: nospam, the terms and user-agreements blablha...
- safety stuff
- Password
- how often you want to be remembered to actualise your profile (after 3,6,12 month)?
next step could be, to complete your profile with more personal stuff, like:
- what you do all the day
- your hobbies
- Fotos
- personal philosophy
- movies, books, music
- links that are important for you
- "farbe bekennen!" changing colour of your profile-site
concerning hosting people:
- what you can offer to visitors: couch, tent, own room, space on the floor
- how much time before arriving they should contact you
- only special gender?
- smoking?
- pets?
- what you expect from visitors? Help with dishes etc...
concerning travelling:
- what you expect from hosts
- space for stories: your best experiences
- where have you travelled already?
Concerning Education:
- Do you want to say something general about learning? What does learning/education mean to you?
- what can you offer to share?
- Skills and knowledge
- Infrastructure (telephone, internet, car, kitchen)
- Resources (tools, workshops, books...)
- do you search for people for a special project?
- Project descriptions
- Project blog
- What do you like to learn?
- skills and knowledge
